This is the fairy tale pop punk has been waiting for, and As It Is are the knights in shining armor. Hop on the bandwagon now, because they’re bringing pop punk the happily ever after it so well deserves.
Since the homogenization of South by Southwest by the mainstream, it has become fashionable among music critics and self-anointed culture commentators to dismiss music festivals as passé. They claim media conglomerates, bringing bloat, have diluted the musical variety which could be counted on at SXSW to make it palatable to general tastes. These observers conclude that the principles of independence and community that SXSW was conceived upon have been subsumed by the now ubiquitous forces of corporatization. Poltergeist Is Getting a Reboot And We’re All Going To Die The worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life, Poltergeist, was SCARY ENOUGH the first time. It is a big part of why I can’t watch scary movies without being in actual fear of peeing myself. (Also, there is no “cute date” option for me that will help me get over this. Ever.) The reboot of Poltergeist will incorporate modern technology, only adding to the freakiness and torment it will undoubtedly put you through. It goes without saying that 2015 is going to be a massive year for music, but in between the obvious contenders for our most anticipated releases, there’s also a slew of up-and-coming talent that we’re keeping our eyes glued to this year.
