mgk recently dropped his record, lost americana, on August 8, and he celebrated in style by hosting a weekend’s worth of performances in his hometown, Cleveland. While in the city, he shot the music video for album track, “tell me whats up,” with his friends, including Mod Sun, and his fans. Rocking Browns jerseys and Guardians caps, he really is showcasing his Cleveland pride. Featuring the pop-infused singles and visuals for “cliché,” “vampire diaries,” and “miss sunshine,” the album release also arrived with one more video: “outlaw overture.” Ahead of the album release, he shared on Twitter/X, “My request is that you to listen to ‘lost americana’ in its entirety front to back tonight, even if you’ve heard the singles. preferably in the car.” Additionally, mgk took time to dedicate the album to his late friend and pro snowboarder Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, who passed in February 2025. mgk notes, “[I’m] dedicating this album to… Read more »
mgk is gearing up to drop his new album, lost americana, tonight, featuring his pop-infused, dance-inducing singles “cliché,” “vampire diaries,” and “miss sunshine.” Ahead of the August 8 launch, mgk, aka Colson Baker, shared that this album is dedicated to his late friend and professional snowboarder Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, 38.
