This week we chat to Jena Rose, a pop singer/songwriter from Plano, Texas. Jena tells us about learning piano at age 5, writing songs by age 9, and playing her first shows at the age of 12. She also chats with us about the Cuban American elements in her music, as well as her newest single “Checkmate” and the inspiration behind the song.
