You Blew It! have done a great job with this release, but the album shows off the potential they have to do better. The Florida quintet impresses their audience with a heavy energy and lyrics that push towards a darker side.
While they have always been known as more of a pop band, rather than a rock band, this time around on Biography of Heartbreak, This Century strips away any rock or punk sensibilities they once had and go straight for the Top 40 pop sound.
Texas In July have taken the best parts of One Reality and stepped their game up. With a song for every shade of hardcore, Texas In July show that they can adapt their music from one album to the next and still crush it.
The Season, the debut full-length from Charleston, SC’s All Get Out, is a record dripping with honesty from every pore. Released at the end of last year on Favorite Gentleman Records, The Season seems like something that would fit in very well with the likes of Manchester Orchestra, O’Brother, or Kevin Devine.
