It’s pretty apparent that we’re writing to you from a time warp, because we’re certain it’s still 2008 even though we’re discussing the biggest moments of 2015. Anything that happened this year that had you happy, sad, or anywhere in between can probably be found below. Female-fronted power metal quintet Huntress recently wrapped up a tour with metal titans Testament, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God, who they’ll be heading to Europe with in the new year. Frontwoman Jill Janus plays hardball and is certainly one of the boys. Classically trained and positively wicked, Janus sat down for some girltalk with idobi writer Alex Rudisill at one of their final dates with such a legendary lineup.
If anyone in attendance had doubts about the recently reformed Taking Back Sunday, they were certainly put to rest on October 11 in Des Moines, Iowa. Let’s hope that Taking Back Sunday stays this way for a long, long time.

In early 1984, when Epic Records executives presented their slate of upcoming releases at the convention in Hawaii of parent company CBS Records they couldn’t resist playing up the success they were experiencing. So between the pitches for new albums, Epic inserted stock footage of semi trucks and a voice-over that thunderously announced, “There goes another load of Michael Jackson’s Thriller albums!” Trucks weren’t really leaving the warehouse every few minutes, but Thriller was still shattering expectations more than a year after its November 30, 1982, release.
