Jared Leto’s Joker Look Has Broken Everyone Whether you’re a comic lover or not, the picture of Jared Leto’s new look as the Joker for Suicide Squad leaked and it’s… not disappointing. It’s a creepy “I’m going to kill everyone” look, and with Leto’s extreme acting skills already behind just the picture, I’m seriously excited about the promise this role holds for him. Not only was I excited about this announcement of Jared Leto, but I was overly ecstatic when I SAW HOW HE LOOKS. It’s just so creepy, and he seems like the perfect person to play a joking… Read more »

TheBillboardChart Needs a Streaming Makeover With All Time Low’s number one album debut debunked by the new Billboard standard, many people in our scene posed the question if we need to rethink the way Billboard included streaming into it’s tallies. Right now, every 1,500 streams of a song off an album = 1 album sale. Thomas Nassiff of Absolutepunk wrote a wonderful short piece on the matter. In my opinion, it’s crap. A successful single does not an album make. If that were true, Vanilla Ice would have probably been much more successful and have never gotten arrested for stealing.… Read more »

Tom Delonge Released A New Video And I’m Done I’m not going to get over it. I will never let go. The music is supposedly supposed to be meant as a Blink-182 track, and the video is filled with anger directed a drum sets and a bass guitar! Real subtle, DeLonge. Seriously considering getting him a kiddie pool for all of his tears at this point. In all honesty, it’s just bad form to force your band’s hand and then come out with a music video that seems as if you are blaming them completely. I tried to watch the… Read more »

In 1919 four film industry pioneers formed United Artists. Chaplin, Pickford, Fairbanks, and Griffith decided they had had enough of non-artists working with their art and they took control of their careers. It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost 100 years since then, but something similar is bubbling up in the music industry. Meet Tidal, Jay-Z’s new streaming service. He has given 16 notable names (and maybe more) equity in his new company to join him in his streaming revolution. Maybe you’ve heard of some of these people? Kayne… Madonna… Two punks named Daft. First, let’s all thank Jay-Z… Read more »
I’m glad this movie exists; more movies need to be made addressing mental health issues—even if they’re comedies.
