Canadian alt-rockers, The Beaches have dropped a brand new single today, “Blame Brett” and announced their forthcoming sophomore LP Blame My Ex due out September 15th. The new track is extremely cheeky to say the least. The Beaches give a new perspective to the break-up anthem by being equally parts funny, mournful, and scathing. They sing “So sorry in advance / Before you take off your pants / I wouldn’t let me meet your friends / I wouldn’t let me near your dad”. Following the release of her debut solo single, Jen Razavi, the co-frontwoman of The Bombpops, has issued the accompanying music video for “Saw In Half.” Razavi‘s debut track, produced by Will Yip (known for his work with Circa Survive, Turnstile, and La Dispute), is a hauntingly atmospheric showcase that beautifully draws out her tenderness and vulnerability. Cleveland-based punk rock group, Heart Attack Man have announced the expansion of their “Freak Of Na-Tour” to include several dates in the UK. The band that is almost too good at puns has coined the new string of shows as “FrU.K. Of Na-Tour” and we are loving it. North Dakota native, Brooklane, has released their titular single from their upcoming EP. The band teamed up with 408 to give us the incredibly vulnerable “Stay Toxic.” The band posted on their Instagram to celebrate the drop.
