U.K. rock act Fiction Plane will release its second album, “Left Side of the Brain,” May 22 via Bieler Bros., just before it begins its run as the opening act for the North American leg of the Police’s reunion tour. Los Angeles – Bright Eyes principal Conor Oberst delivered a finished album to his label last February with an eye on a summer release, but then he had other ideas. He went back into the studio and recorded enough songs for a second set.
