The father of pop stars Nick and Aaron Carter faces a criminal charge for allegedly shoving his wife to the ground during an argument over their separation, authorities said. Robert G. Carter, 50, was arrested Thursday after the fight with his wife, Jane Carter, at their Marathon home, Monroe County sheriff’s spokeswoman Becky Herrin said Monday. He faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, punishable by up to a year in jail.
