So much closer, in fact, that a small band hailing from Phoenix, Arizona could amass an incredible following from across the globe. 8,000 miles across, to be precise.

Brand New Give Us More… The most perfect band in life, Brand New, finally announced some more West Coast shows this spring with Circa Survive and Desaparecidos alternating on specific dates. Their news was the biggest of the week for me. Over the past couple of years Brand New have toured consistently, and they’ve fueled rumors they’re in the studio working on a 2015 release–no doubt with an insane name. Twin Forks announce spring tour dates


  Twin Forks have announced tour dates for this spring on two separate tours in January and February. The band will kick off the new year with Jukebox, The Ghost on December 14th in Cleveland, Ohio, then head out on a second string of dates in mid-February with Lucero and Ryan Bingham. Twin Forks, fronted by Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba, are currently wrapping up the year on a tour supporting Counting Crows. Why are Gerard Way, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Foster The People all in NYC this week? For the CMJ Music Marathon of course, and you should be here too! There’s nothing like the thrill of discovering a new favorite band, and with over 1,400 artists playing more than 300 showcases at 80+ venues throughout the city, CMJ surely has one for you. The music marathon welcomes veterans like Cold War Kids, newcomers like Zella Day, International acts including the famous Japanese all girl punk band Shonen Knife and countless up and coming artists all hoping to be discovered. These acts are brought together for five days of music and featured speakers from the industry. For each day, idobi Radio will be bring you the CMJ “Four Play”: four can’t miss events for each day of CMJ.
