When Vans Warped Tour announced it was coming to an end last year, we all (understandably) fell into a pit of despair. The country wide festival is iconic for bringing kids together and introducing them to a new community of bands, fans, and non-profit organizations. Our light at the end of the tunnel was the promise that the tour’s 25th anniversary would still be coming in 2019—but little did we know how good it would be. Disney’s Winnie The Pooh spin-off film, “Christopher Robin,” looks AWESOME. It looks like a movie that will just pull at our heart strings, bring some nostalgia, and also hopefully some laughs. Because let’s be honest, who doesn’t like Winnie the Pooh! It’s WINNIE THE POOH!!!!! The original classic TV show was great. Even had Walt Disney in person narrating it. Kevin Lyman is ready to see where the Warped Tour will go from here. When I talk to him, it’s days after he announced the end of “punk rock summer camp” in 2018.
