Shooting in Highland Park Yesterday there was a shooting in Highland Park, Illinois at a 4th of July parade, about 25 miles outside of Chicago. According to NPR, authorities said over 70 rounds were shot off of a rooftop from a high powered rifle. Friday was the true grand finale of the three-day event held at the iconic House Of Blues for “an evening of hot new alternative bands.”
The Gathering took place this year in Cleveland, Ohio and it was the first time back since the pandemic, allowing artists and music lovers to get together to celebrate music and the alternative bands that perform.
