Sleep is elusive, and I’ve gotten used to surviving on three hours of it. This tour is so grueling, and I’m not sure what’s different. This is not my first go at it, but this run especially is so exhausting.
With everything that goes awry within the walls of the internet today, we cannot deny that it has also brought a lot of the world closer together. So much closer, in fact, that a small band hailing from Phoenix, Arizona could amass an incredible following from across the globe. 8,000 miles across, to be precise.
We caught up with journalist/author Brenna Ehrlich and asked her about the inspiration behind her debut novel, Placid Girl (All Ages Press – Aug 25), and how eerily topical the book is.
