August 20th — Cleveland, OH | Beachland Ballroom
Sleep is elusive, and I’ve gotten used to surviving on three hours of it. This tour is so grueling, and I’m not sure what’s different. This is not my first go at it, but this run especially is so exhausting. I am finding myself annoyed by the arbitrary, mental fatigue wearing my seams. Another night with two hours of sleep, and I feel weird. My headliner routine has consisted of getting to a venue, helping load in, then finding a comfortable dive to drown myself in. I feel as if I should isolate myself, but I’m not sure why yet. Luckily today my favorite bar in the country is a block away from the venue. It’s raw, honest, and cheap, which is also how I could describe myself at this point. I always feel guilty about not being the positive light people may expect me to be, but I also pride myself on being genuine.
