The annual Boston Calling festival will return for its ninth year at Harvard Athletic Complex this May. Spanning across three days, Boston Calling will be held Memorial Day weekend from May 26-28, and today, they have announced the set times for the upcoming three-day event. With anticipated headline performances from Foo Fighters (Friday, May 26), The Lumineers (Saturday, May 27), and Paramore (Sunday, May 28), there will be several major overlapping sets. Paramore‘s performance, which is scheduled to close out the festival on Sunday evening, will substantially overlap with Aussie rockers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Just one week out from the glorious return of Bamboozle Festival after a 10-year hiatus, the festival has announced its decision to cancel the May 5-7 event. This year’s 2023 fest would mark Bamboozle Festival’s 20th anniversary and had scheduled performances from some of the largest names across an array of genres. Alt-rock newcomer JULES IS DEAD has unleashed their cut-throat new single “Red Is My Favorite Color.” The venomous track marks the 17-year-old’s label debut through Atlantic Records in partnership with TAG Music, the new record label founded by musician/entrepreneur Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship and Midtown fame.
