Korn Singer "Damned"


Korn’s Jonathan Davis has co-written the score for the film adaptation of Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned, due out February 22nd. Collaborating with Oingo Boingo keyboardist Richard Gibbs, Davis composed the score for a ninety-two-piece orchestra and penned five songs for the soundtrack. Among them is one particularly poignant track: a tune with lyrics by Rashad Haughton, brother of the late singer-actress Aaliyah, who portrays the film’s title character. Bono, Dupri, Durst All Have Own Ideas About 'What's Going On'


There’s a lot more going on with the all-star remake of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” including a rock version that will include the frontmen from Korn and Stone Temple Pilots. The release date for the Bono-organized, Jermaine Dupri-produced project has been bumped from December 1 to October 23, and there will now be an R&B version by Dupri, a slower version produced by Bono and a rock version manned by Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, according to the project’s publicist. Columbia/Loud Records’ Stereomud will be headlining what promises to be one of the most aggressive, exultant and satisfying underground hard rock tours of the summer: the “Pain & Suffering” Tour featuring Columbia/Dv8 Records’ Endo.
