Passion Pit’s Instagram now has two posts on it and it’s all we need to freak out a little. They posted earlier today that their 2021 album, Gossamer, is getting a revival for its 10th (actually 11th) anniversary. The album will be available on June 2 as a vinyl record; pre-sales are currently happening for the release. Last week, Southern California was hit with unusual storms. Parts of California that barely even see rain were under blizzard watch. That’s when Dave Grohl reminded us just how wonderful he is. The Foo Fighters legend went out in Los Angeles to help feed people who were hit by the cold temperatures and heavy rain. — As UK music festivals go, the Phoenix Festival doesn’t have the storied history of Glastonbury or Reading. It only ran for five years, between 1993 and ’97, but it was located pretty close to my home in the Midlands region of England when I was growing up, and so I went to the 1995 event and the two that followed.
