Silverstein has announced a winter tour in celebration of the ten year anniversary of their album Discovering The Waterfront. This January, the band will embark on the journey with supporting acts Beartooth, Hands Like Houses, Major League and My Iron Lung. You can check out dates below.
Silverstein must be missing 2005 as much as we do, because this “Throwback Thursday” they hit the world wide web with a newly designed website. Well, maybe not so new… The layout is taking the band back to the days of Myspace.
Silverstein recently rocked the Divan du Monde in Paris, and they brought Heart In Hand and Polar along for the ride.
Silverstein have released a music video for “On Brave Mountains We Conquer” off their latest album This Is How the Wind Shifts. The video depicts the tale of an older man who appears agitated with a younger man and woman, when his aggravated nature takes a turn for the worst. Silverstein brought their explosive live show to the Gramercy Theatre last week, teaming up with Like Moths To Flames, Glass Cloud, Issues, and Secrets for a full-blown assault on concertgoers’ eardrums.
Silverstein make a triumphant return in 2013 with a release that not only reflects their roots, but also explores new complexities not heard on prior releases. This Is How the Wind Shifts is arguably Silverstein’s most ambitious, mature, and progressive album to date.
Silverstein will release their seventh studio album This Is How The Wind Shifts on February 5th, 2013 via Hopeless Records. The band has also announced an extensive tour in support of the album throughout North America and Europe.
Silverstein will head out on tour this August with support from Such Gold, Daytrader, and Lions Lions. The band will be playing the album Short Songs in it’s entirety.
Silverstein are in the studio working on a collection of songs each clocking in at under 90 seconds. The album will feature 22 tracks in total, an even split of new material and covers of bands like NOFX, Green Day, and The Descendents.
