2013 was an insane year for Northlane. They released their sophomore album, Singularity, in March in their home country of Australia and in November here in the states to glorifying reviews. idobi writer Alex Rudisill caught up with bassist Alex Milovic to discuss the band’s current happenings.
South By So What!? is back in 2014 for its biggest and best year yet. The festival will take place at Quiktrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX on March 14-16th. The festival features a wide variety of alternative, pop-punk, metal, and hardcore bands including Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, The Devil Wears Prada, The Story So Far and Comeback Kid.

Former My Chemical Romance frontman, Gerard Way, has announced the release date of his debut solo album. The collection, titled Hesitant Alien, will be released on September 30th. The news comes on the heels of the release of the album’s first single, “Action Cat”. Way has also unveiled the tracklist and a teaser video, both of which can be found below.
