Fall Out Boy Honors Sinéad O’Connor On Live Cover


Throughout their So Much For (Tour) Dust setlists, Fall Out Boy have incorporated a handful of cleverly crafted cover songs to inject the crowd with an extra dose of energy and enthusiasm. However, yesterday evening, July 26, the group’s frontman Patrick Stump took the opportunity to pay tribute to honor Sinéad O’Connor following the news of her passing earlier in the day. Basically: NOPE is Jordan Peele’s JAWS turned up into a sensory spectacle Jordan Peele, much like Hitchcock, Serling, Clouzot, and even Shyamalan, has sculpted a niche out of the horror-tinged thriller genre—to such a stylistic degree it is a fingerprint. Exhibit A: During the first third of his films, Peele creates a symbolic framework of backstory, objects, trauma, character idiosyncrasies, and music.
