New England Metal & Hardcore Festival have announced their initial line-up for 2014. The festival will take place at The Palladium in Worcester, MA from April 17-19. Bands playing include All That Remains, Iced Earth, Slapshot, Cruel Hand, Twitching Tongues, Reign Supreme and more. It will also be the last East Coast performance from Bleeding Through.

Way back in 2006, Paramore recorded an acoustic rendition of “My Hero” originally by the incredible Foo Fighters. Now, the cover has finally hit streaming services all these years later. Not sure what took them so long to make this decision, but we sure are happy about it. Along with the acoustic version, Paramore also released an electronic mix as well. Last month Hayley Williams joined Foo Fighters on stage in Tennessee at Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival for a guest performance of “My Hero”. After the death of an adult in Illinois officials are warning the public about the dangers of vaping. In recent months 22 states have reported 193 “vaping-related” respiratory illnesses. The C.D.C. respectfully withheld information about the patient who passed away but Robert R. Redfield, Director of the C.D.C, released a statement saying: “This tragic death in Illinois reinforces the serious risks associated with e-cigarette products.
