Following the release of their two new singles from the summer, as well as a recent band documentary, L.S. Dunes is releasing a forthcoming demos record Lost Songs: Lines And Shapes. The LP will feature eleven demo tracks of their original Past Lives songs, giving listeners a look at how the modern rock quintet built their major debut record. Dunes has been sharing new tunes, dropping band documentaries, and now they’ve released a new music video for “Old Wounds.” Created by @iammethisisi, an AI artist, the video shows scenes of fire, astronauts, UFOs, and more. The color palette of the music video is akin to the cover art of The Smashing Pumpkins’ Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Check out the new music video below. Fans of L.S. Dunes have something to celebrate today, and it’s not new music. The modern rock quintet released the third and final installment of their ‘Limitless Sky’ documentary. The Past Lives artists gave listeners and fans the opportunity to look into their writing and recording process at Joshua Tree. Today, the quintet released their new single, “Old Wounds.” With haunting stillness, the band departs from the intensity of their 2022 LP Past Lives, taking a slower approach to the release without sacrificing any raw instrumentals. Though, this is in staunch contrast to Dunes’ preceding 2023 single, “Benadryl Subreddit,” which begins with a screaming Anthony Green, and chock-full of “desert energy.” Talk about range.
