Halloween is the time to put on your favorite spooky tracks or just play all the songs you love year-round for your normie friends. Of course, myriad instrumental songs are instantly recognizable and iconic, such as in the case of A24’s Talk To Me’s “Le Monde” by Richard Carter, taking over TikTok and Instagram Reels. Additionally, Michael Abels’ thrilling compositions brought Jordan Peele’s Get Out, Us, and Nope to life with rousing instrumentals, including “Pas de Deux” and “Preparing The Trap.” Of course, who could forget the goat, the OG, “The Master Of Horror,” himself, John Carpenter? The “Prince of… Read more »

Whether you enjoy dressing up for parties or hosting a horror movie night from the comfort of your couch, there’s something for everyone to take part in. Better yet, there are plenty of alternative bands and artists that find their inspiration in the spooky season. This doesn’t mean that they are carving pumpkins or telling ghost stories. Many bands in our scene incorporate paranormal or horror imagery and themes into their releases. This can take the form of voodoo dolls (The… Read more »
Forever Halloween digs deep to unearth some serious human truths – and sounds appropriately mature doing so. The album boasts worldliness in comparison to The Maine’s earlier catalogue, and it’s evident from the authenticity of the collection how effectively the members have channeled their experience of growing up into their work.

Pop-punk musician Noah Adams, better known as NOAHFINNCE, gave idobi Radio hints back in early March that, “If you love horror shit, you’re gonna love the music video for ‘ALEXITHYMIA.’ It is gory, and disgusting and dark and gross. Released today via Epitaph Records, the guitar-driven arrangement is on the soundtrack for the new Amazon Prime film, ‘Totally Killer.’ From the first riff, The Linda Lindas’ cover is as evocative and explosive as your favorite Joan Jett song. The simple arrangement of electric guitars, bass, drums, and filtered vocals make the track infectiously catchy and danceable. Plus, the… Read more »
