GHØSTKID Drops “FSU,” Announces New LP ‘Hollywood Suicide’

GHØSTKID has announced a new album, Hollywood Suicide, and dropped the first single from the record, “FSU.” The new full-length comes out on March 22 via Century Media Records, ahead of their upcoming spring tour with Black Veil Brides, Creeper, and Dark Divine. The post-hardcore act embodies an edgy and (positively) offensive realness that hasn’t been in the scene for a bit. Dramatic make-up, masks at times, but overall, they appear like varieties of the undead, especially in the music video for the new single. All of which makes GHØSTKID stand out as new proverours in the genre.  Vocalist Sebastian… Read more »

Enter Shikari And FEVER 333’s Jason Aalon Butler Are “Losing My Grip” In New Single

Enter Shikari and FEVER 333’s Jason Aalon Butler release their latest collab with the new single “Losing My Grip.” This is both acts’ first new music in 2024, ahead of their upcoming arena tour in the UK and EU. With innovative traits from both artists, the new song joins Butler’s fast-paced delivery and socially aware lyrics with lead singer and producer Rou Reynolds‘s distorted electro mix that’s solidified in unity with equally aggressive vocals from both. Butler says that he’s always been a fan of Enter Shikari; “they are an entity in their own lane.”  That’s evident on this track,… Read more »

Rain City Drive Reimagines Their Song “Frozen”

Rain City Drive has reimagined their latest single, “Frozen,” via Thriller Records. The alt-hardcore act originally released the single in September but has given it an almost holiday-edge decoration to it. The first version was featured on Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock playlist. Reworking songs isn’t new; however, the band incorporated post-hardcore sounds with poppy beats and melodies in “Frozen (Reimagined)” while sprinkling in some holiday belles, which helps in slowing down the quicker pacing of the original. With softer vocals as well, the song sounds like it could be in an alt-rock version of a Hallmark or Lifetime holiday… Read more »

With reworked songs, sometimes it can take time to get used to new sounds, flow, and even sometimes fewer vocals. But guitarist Dan Brown says, “I… Read more »
