The Recording Academy is best known for its awards shows, however, this afternoon they will be throwing a smaller more personal event and you’re invited. At 4pm PT, The Recording Academy is joining MusiCares in hosting a conversation with some of our favorite artists to discuss their self-care and how it relates to Covid, their careers, and strategies moving forward.
The Rockstar Dad Show is inviting a rockstar family to the air this week! Listen in as Rick, Miles, and Daxx Nielsen join Jaret and Gary for a conversation.
As the lead guitarist of Cheap Trick, Rick Nielsen has lived an interesting life and his sons have followed in his footsteps with their own careers in music. Daxx is a drummer who’s played with many bands over the years, including with Cheap Trick. Miles is the frontman of a band called Mike Nielsen and The Rusted Hearts (more on that in a bit).
When the group calls in they look back at their history both personal and professional, from stories about Guns n’ Roses to family dynamics while touring. They also chat about The Nielsen Trust, quarantining with kids, being versatile with your music and more. Tune in and make sure you stick around until the end to hear “Hands Up” by Miles’s band!

All new music on idobi Network.

That’s why we are so excited that the Rioters of Geek Girl Riot will be hosting their first ever live taping of their show at The Outpost Con this Saturday, October 24th from 11:00am PST – 12:00pm PST.
What better way to kick off a weekend than with new music? Featuring new tracks from Valencia, PVRIS, The Wonder Years, and more.
By now, you should know that idobi is participating in the ADAPT conference, happening this Thursday, October 22nd. But what you might not know is idobi is hosting our very own breakout session with the conference.
Hey you! Your weekend should be absolutely dazzling… which is why we’re spicing it up with a little bit of Razzmatazz. I Don’t Know How But They Found Me is dropping their debut album called (you guessed it) Razzmatazz this Friday. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to celebrate, they’ll also be hosting a Release Day Listening Party here on idobi Radio. The duo will jump on air to share the new collection with you, spinning tunes and telling tales along the way. With Ryan and Dallon on the mic, you’re sure to have a great time—and dance to… Read more »
