It was directed by the band’s vocalist, Matty Healy, and it’s a beautifully done, aesthetically pleasing video with one hell of an ending. Everyone loves when a surprise guest jumps out during a live performance and last night we got an absolutely iconic collaboration. Dave Grohl, famous for his work in both Foo Fighters and Nirvana, joined boygenius at the Hollywood Bowl on Halloween to bring fans a special live performance of their song, “Satanist“. Grohl was dressed in corspe make-up for the holiday, while Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus from boygenius were sporting various religious attire.
