For his forthcoming fourth album The Midsummer Station, Owl City’s Adam Young did something he has never done before: he collaborated with co-producers, co-writers, and other artists. The album is a culmination of crisp, finely-tuned vocals, and explosive pop tunes that will delight the moment they hit.
Blink-182 has pushed its European summer tour dates back to 2012 in order to finish recording its first album in eight years, the band announced today on its website.
All 29 minutes and eight songs of the Neon Trees’ debut mix up the decades, combining for a fast-paced dance party reminiscent of The Strokes and Depeche Mode.
It will be all “Love,” all the time for Tom DeLonge’s Angels & Airwaves this year.
Angels & Airwaves’ third album, Love, was released free download this past Valentine’s Day on DeLonge’s musician-friendly social networking site, Modlife.
Though nearly a year has passed since Blink-182 announced its reunion, the wait for the trio’s next album is not over.

After struggling through a concert in Hartford, Conn. Saturday night, Blink-182 has cancelled its Monday night show in upstate New York. “Due to circumstances surrounding the unfortunate and untimely passing of our dear friend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, Blink-182 will not be playing tonight in Saratoga, NY at SPAC. Performances by Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Chester French will take place as planned, along with some special surprises.
