It’s no question that late night drives are best accompanied by great music, but sometimes choosing the playlist to fit the mood you’re in when you’re alone with your thoughts can be difficult. U2 Broadcasts 'Emotional' Homecoming Concerts Friday


Amid a week full of music-related TV specials, U2 offers U2’s Beautiful Day, a one-hour special from the homecoming concerts at Ireland’s Slane Castle in 2001. Besides footage from the shows on August 25 and September 1, the broadcast-at 10 p.m. ET Friday (November 29) on CBS-includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band. Eminem, Nelly Just The Latest Rappers To Strike Gold With Crew Cuts


Once a hip-hop artist achieves any semblance of success, expect to hear about it from his friends. More than simply brag about their platinum-selling homie, though, chances are they’ll rap with him on their own album. Within the last two months, collections from the Nelly-backed St. Lunatics and the Eminem-featured D12 have stormed into record stores. The Lunatics’ Free City debuted on the Billboard 200 albums chart at #3 on June 13, while D12 earned the #1 slot with Devils Night two weeks later. 'NSync Takes Home Three Blockbuster Entertainment Awards


‘NSync was the top musical act at the seventh annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards Tuesday (April 10) night at L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium, winning Favorite CD (No Strings Attached), Favorite Single (“Bye, Bye, Bye”), and Favorite Pop Group. The major music categories were mostly split, however, with a poodle-haired Christina Aguilera snagging Favorite Female Artist, Eminem taking Favorite Male Artist, and Destiny’s Child walking off with Favorite Group of the Year.
