Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer postpone their Hella Mega tour due to Coronavirus.
Basically, it’s a good time to be a Green Day fan. With Father of All… and The Hella Mega Tour, it looks like 2020 will be the year of Green Day. Fire, Ready, Aim is Green Day’s latest offering from their forthcoming thirteenth studio album Father of all… due out February 7, 2020. After announcing a two-year cross-platform partnership with the NHL, Fire, Ready, Aim is the new opening theme song for Wednesday Night Hockey game broadcasts for the 2019-2020 season. Over the weekend in Cleveland, Green Day joined the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, and so many more with their induction into the Hall of Fame. This was huge news for Alternative music seeing as Green Day is really the first modern punk band to be inducted. Green Day have cancelled all their tour dates from now through February due to the ongoing health issues with frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. The band has also moved up the release of ¡Tré! to December 11th instead of January 15th.
