Basically, it’s a good time to be a Green Day fan. With Father of All… and The Hella Mega Tour, it looks like 2020 will be the year of Green Day. Fire, Ready, Aim is Green Day’s latest offering from their forthcoming thirteenth studio album Father of all… due out February 7, 2020. After announcing a two-year cross-platform partnership with the NHL, Fire, Ready, Aim is the new opening theme song for Wednesday Night Hockey game broadcasts for the 2019-2020 season. As part of the partnership, the band will also be performing at the NHL All-Star Game in St. Louis on January 25, 2020.
Wednesday night hockey isn’t the only place Green Day is taking over. The first single and title track Father of All… climbed up the Billboard rock chart to number 6. Green Day fans can look forward to having a good time in 2020. After the album drops in February, the band will kick off The Hella Mega Tour on June 13 in Paris, France. Several European dates on the tour have already sold out. The Hella Mega tour isn’t one you should wait to get tickets for and vinyl editions of Father of All… are already being snatched up. Just make sure you are on board when the Green Day train leaves the station, you don’t want to miss any of this.
