The Riot grrrl movement began in the early 1990’s at the forefront of feminism, punk music, and political commentary. It was a genre built out of anger, frustration, and rage entirely crafted by badass women. Shooting in Highland Park Yesterday there was a shooting in Highland Park, Illinois at a 4th of July parade, about 25 miles outside of Chicago. According to NPR, authorities said over 70 rounds were shot off of a rooftop from a high powered rifle.
