Local bands, it’s that time of year again! The Vans Warped Tour Battle Of The Bands Voting started today. Bands have been emailing and messaging me about my take on entering the contest, *GASP* if I could vote for their band to play Date X on the tour, and if it’s “worth it”.
Hot Water Music haven’t released a full length album since 2004, but that is about to change. On May 15th the band will deliver Exister onto the world through Rise Records.

Apple has quietly launched Mastered for iTunes, a push to deliver music “exactly as the artists and sound engineers intend it to be heard”, though the company maintains that iTunes Plus 256kbps AAC files are still sufficient rather than lossless. The Ghost Inside are heading out with Attack Attack! on the “This Means War” Tour later this week. I had the chance to talk about a few tracks from Fury And The Fallen Ones and Returners with Vocalist Johnathan Vigil before they headed into the studio to record their third album.
