Muse, MCR Tour Still Hit by Illness


Muse’s big U.S. arena tour with My Chemical Romance has hit another buffer, with a third show cancelled for this weekend. Both bands and their support crew became ‘violently ill’ following a bout of suspected foot poisoning in Virgina following a show on April 29th, which led to two shows being pulled in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The All-American Rejects will be honored with ASCAP’s Vanguard Award at the 24th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards, which will also salute the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP’s most performed pop songs of 2006. Mest's Tony Lovato Jailed After Fatal Stabbing


The singer with defunct punk rock band Mest was jailed on suspicion of murder in Los Angeles Sunday after police said he confessed to stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s new lover. Boston Lead Singer Commits Suicide


The recent death of Brad Delp, lead singer of the rock band Boston, has been ruled a suicide, police in New Hampshire said on Wednesday. Delp, 55, was killed by carbon monoxide piped through a tube from a vehicle’s exhaust pipe into a bathroom where he was found dead on March 9, said Lt. William Baldwin of the police in Atkinson, a southern New Hampshire town where Delp lived. New Order bassist Peter Hook is gathering some famous friends to collaborate on his new project, Freebase.
