To celebrate the release, the band have also dropped a music video for their somber yet catchy track “Quarry“. The new album is deeply empathetic, a patchwork of portraits of the American South. It contains half-funny and half-tragic autobiographical tales of a band from North Carolina drenched in the skuzz of nineties shoe gaze and country twang. 10 years ago, Paramore unleashed their self-titled, fourth studio album into the world. Featuring standout singles “Ain’t It Fun” and “Still Into You” amongst the 17-track collection, the self-titled album acted as a reintroduction of the group after the departure of guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro.
