Like Moths To Flames have kickstarted a new chapter in their story in 2023, and so far, it is absolutely incredible reading. Sharing their first new music since 2021’s Pure Like Porcelain last month in the form of “Predestination Paradox”, they’ve now built on that with another bruiser.

That is “I Found The Dark Side of Heaven”, an unrelenting piece of metalcore darkness. Gripping from atmosphere start to crushing end, it is quintessential LMTF in all the right ways. Written about those who feel like they have been pushed to a place where they now feel invisible, it is as self-reflective as it is savage.

Vocalist Christ Roetter had this to say:

Over the last few years, a lot of us have felt like shells of our former selves. This is for the people who feel like they’ve been pushed so far away that no one sees them. I think it’s easy to feel forgotten about and like you didn’t matter. Some of my darkest days were an abyss that was never ending. When it’s difficult to find anything to pull you out, sometimes you just have to accept that you’re stuck.”

And here is “Predestination Paradox” to get you all caught up:

Like Moths To Flames are set to hit the road alongside Currents and Invent Animate later this month.

Here are the dates:
