A Loss For Words will be hitting the road in March in celebration of 5 years since they released The Kids Can’t Lose. The band will be joined on tour by Veara, City Lights, PVRIS, and The Moms. Elder Brother, the newly formed indie-rock project from Kevin Geyer (The Story So Far) and Dan Rose (Daybreaker), has announced plans to release their debut record, Heavy Head, via Pure Noise Records on March 11th. The duo recorded the album with Sam Pura in August 2013 and it features additional contributions from Matthew and Charles Vincent (The American Scene). Today’s Mixtape Festival is back for it’s 3rd year and with a killer lineup at that. The Festival will take place on Long Island, as well as hold it’s first year on the West Coast in Oakland, California.
The third annual Today’s Mixtape Festival will take place March 29th and 30th at 89 North in Patchogue, NY. Put on by East Coast Collective, the festival will also be expanding to the West Coast this year with the help of Bake Shows. It will take place at the Oakland Metro in Oakland, CA kicking off with the Pure Noise Records 5th Anniversary on March 21st and continuing the festival the 22nd and 23rd. SoCal heavy-hitters Rotting Out are on the road right now with pop punk youngsters The Story So Far.
