Birmingham, Alabama’s Erra are young and full of ambition. Taking cues from bands like Misery Signals and Between the Buried And Me, the band recently released their latest record Augment through Tragic Records and are looking to hop back on the road this year. idobi writer Alex Rudisill chatted with the band’s guitarist/clean vocalist Jesse Cash on the current status of the band.

Last week we published our official top albums of 2013 list, featuring everyone from The Wonder Years and Fall Out Boy to The 1975 and Vampire Weekend. Lots of complicated math and science were involved in calculating the final list, but we thought we’d let you have a look at all of our individual staff lists as well.
It seemed especially difficult to commit to our selection of top albums this year, but after laboring over it for what might be considered an unreasonable amount of time, we were finally able to narrow it down. Check out our top 10 albums of 2013!
Anthony Raneri(Bayside) has released a music video for “String Me Along” following the story of young love. The track comes from the Our Voices EP, which is a split between Raneri, Adam Lazzara(Taking Back Sunday), Chris Conely(Saves The Day), and Vinnie Caruana(I Am The Avalanche).

New England Metal & Hardcore Festival have announced their initial line-up for 2014. The festival will take place at The Palladium in Worcester, MA from April 17-19. Bands playing include All That Remains, Iced Earth, Slapshot, Cruel Hand, Twitching Tongues, Reign Supreme and more. It will also be the last East Coast performance from Bleeding Through.
