UK punkers The Menstrual Cramps have released their new single, “Body Politics,” and signed to Alcopop! Records. The band also announced headline shows in the new year, including Manchester Punk Fest, Outer Town Festival, and 2000 Trees. The song is based on a deeper political meaning of bodily autonomy and identity. This weekend, Green Day played the greatest halftime show of the year, and no, it wasn’t at an American football game. When We Were Young Fest was packed with incredible acts this year, both legendary and brand new. However, there was one band that I was most excited to see, hands down. Say Anything has been a staple band in my life since I was 15 years old. I met my now wife when I was a sophomore in High School. Say Anything was one of the first things we bonded over.
