Following the release of the group’s first “happy song in the Wrist catalog,” Teenage Wrist has issued their latest effort, “Diorama.” “Diorama” showcases the duo’s signature shoegaze sound through an amalgamation of alternative rock, psychedelic synths, and heightened euphonious melodies. After three editions of the festival hitting emo fans hard in 2022, Hawthorne Heights is bringing the “Is For Lovers Festival” to eight cities in 2023. This year’s event will visit Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, NV; Denver, CO; Manteo, NC; Council Bluffs, IA; Cincinnati, OH; Pelham, TN; and Mansfield, MA. After being delayed a year due to the pandemic, 8123 Fest is making it’s return in January 2022. But the upcoming festival is going to be more than just the main festival date, fans can expect multiple side shows, a themed after party, and an opportunity to join in on a volunteer day. It’s much bigger than simply attending another music festival, it’ll give fans a chance to delve deeper into The Maine and where they grew up.
