The senior class at idobi (everyone born before 1990—you know, the Grunge Age) have decided to toss out our thoughts on the new Ghostbusters theme song for your amusement.
No matter where you look in the world, there’s always something that’s bound to turn your head. The sheer amount of unbelievable acts that caught our attention this year had to have broken some kind of record, whether they were wonderful, heart-wrenching, or absolutely stupid.
Until a music video is released, a song is open to the theatrics of your mind. If you’re anything like us, all your favorite songs have a storyboard of your own creation to go along with them—that is, until the official video is released. It’ll wipe away your mental picture, and if they’ve done it right, you’ll be happy to let it go. The following nineteen videos accomplished just that, as told by the idobi staff.

Timbaland’s next musical collaboration might be a lullaby. The rapper-producer and fiancée Monique Idlett welcomed a baby girl a few days ago, People reported Tuesday. “They’re both really happy together,” a source told the magazine. “They’ve known each other for years.” Timbaland, whose real name is Tim Mosley, has hit the studio with a mind-boggling number of artists ranging from Dr. Dre to Duran Duran to Björk, but the visionary who helped bring “SexyBack” with Justin Timberlake hasn’t had much to say as far as his nonprofessional partnerships go. In the midst of one of the most passionate and pivotal elections in history, as the early returns are coming in, the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), the organization co-founded by Russell Simmons and Dr. Benjamin Chavis which has spent the past 18 months dedicated to inspiring and mobilizing young people to go to the polls, is witnessing the fruits of its labors today – long lines of young voters. The first Moonman won’t be handed out for another month, but Jay-Z and Beyoncé are already looking like the king and queen of the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards: The two led the pack when nominations were announced Tuesday morning.
