I had the opportunity to speak with one of the better people this industry has seen; Pete Wentz. It’s wild to think how big FOB has gotten, and yet they’re still cool as hell, down to earth, and really have made such a positive impact on music – especially for our “scene.”

We are bringing you our WEEK 7 installment of FAR BEYOND FOOTBALL from the Western Canada leg of the CRUSH EM’ ALL TOUR. Tomorrow will be our final show in Canada for the run, and we are extremely happy about how all the Canadian shows have been so far. Peer-to-peer music sharing, the type of service which helped create the digital music industry, is at an all time low. According to research group NPD Group, the shuttering of Limewire’s music file sharing service has led to a similar decline in the usage of such services throughout the U.S. The number has gone from a high of 16 percent in the fourth quarter of 2007 to just nine percent in the fourth quarter of 2010, right after Limewire shut down its file-sharing services due to a court order, when a federal judge sided with the Recording Industry Association of America… Read more »
