After last year’s majorly successful AP Music Awards, Alternative Press have announced that this year’s awards will take place on July 22, 2015 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH. This year, the hosts are idobi’s own Full Frontal radio hosts, Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat!

Jesse Cannon, who has managed bands like Man Overboard, Transit, and The Menzingers, as well as produced several other incredibly successful bands, has released a new book titled “Get More Fans: The DIY Guide to the Music Business.”
During a recent Metallica Web chat, the band said that it would not tour with producer Bob Rock, who is playing bass with the group in the studio. That didn’t stop Rock from taking the stage with them Tuesday night during a surprise show at Kimo’s in San Francisco. Metallica were billed as Spun for the small club gig, and after taking the stage, they introduced themselves by saying, “Hi, we are Bob’s band,” reported the group’s Web site. After the Ramones said “Adios amigos” for the final time in 1996, singer Joey Ramone wasted no time in starting the recording of what would unfortunately turn out to be his posthumous solo album, Don’t Worry About Me, due out February 18th on Sanctuary Records. Ramone died April 15th of lymphatic cancer. “We started right after the Ramones’ last show,” says producer Daniel Rey, who has also worked with the Ramones themselves and White Zombie. “We cut the music pretty quickly, and then Joey just took his time on the vocals.
