Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter, Jake Scott released his new album Live 2022 today. The album was recorded during his Lavender headline tour in the fall of last year. Each song on the album was recorded during a different night of the tour and allows fans to revisit their experience of seeing Scott live on stage. Sufjan Stevens has a history of creating ballet scores for choreographer Justin Peck. Now we’re getting our hands on a new album made up of scores from a performance commissioned by the Houston Ballet in 2019. Stevens announced he’ll be dropping the album Reflections on May 19. While the music is written by Stevens, it is performed by pianists Timo Andres and Conor Hanick. This is Stevens’ second album made up of scores. Flogging Molly has announced an extensive six week long tour this summer spanning from early August to late September. The tour will kick off in Denver, CO on August 17th and wrap up in Orlando, FL on September 30th. The band will be joined by The Bronx for the entirety of the tour with the exception of festival dates. Indie-pop darlings Nation Of Language has released their second single, “Weak In Your Light,” pulled from their freshly announced third full-length album. The trio’s eagerly-anticipated third album, Strange Disciple, will arrive on Sept. 15 via Play It Again Sam. Today De’Wayne took to instagram to announce a string of headline shows surrounding his upcoming tour supporting grandson and K.Flay. The National have dropped their fourth and final single pulled from their forthcoming full-length, First Two Pages of Frankenstein. Their group’s latest single, “Your Mind is Not Your Friend” is an enthralling ballad featuring Phoebe Bridgers and includes an accompanying music video.
