Lady GaGa tour on hold due to illness


Pop sensation Lady GaGa has come down with an unknown illness during her “Fame Ball” tour, sources tell idobi, bringing the tour to a  screeching  halt. “She lost her voice a few nights ago,” a source following the tour reported, “but did show up last night anyway.” GaGa has since been prescribed medication and  rest  for her condition, the source said. The severity of the artist’s illness is not yet known. Dates from the tour have been postponed indefinitely. “The Fame Ball” U.S. tour featured musical acts Lady GaGa, The White Tie Affair, Chester French and Cinema Bizarre.

MUTEMATH to Perform New Song on The Tonight Show


New Orleans-based eclectic/innovative rock quartet MUTEMATH has confirmed an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Thursday Jan. 15, 2009. The Grammy-nominated band will perform a brand new song entitled, “Spotlight,” from the chart-topping Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, TWILIGHT, based on the Stephanie Meyers book which has become an international phenomenon. The soundtrack to the movie was released this past Nov. 4, 2008. The critically-acclaimed band are currently in the studio recording their 2nd Teleprompt/Warner Bros. Records album. Good Charlotte To Headline AST Dew Tour


The AST Dew Tour announced that alternative pop-punk band Good Charlotte will headline the Verizon music stage on Friday, June 20 at the first stop of the 2008 AST Dew Tour, Baltimore’s Panasonic Open. Linkin Park snags Cornell, Bravery for tour


Linkin Park, Chris Cornell and the Bravery will perform on the main stage of the fifth annual Projekt Revolution tour, set to begin July 16 at the Tweeter Center outside Boston. The Linkin Park-reared trek is scheduled to visit 24 U.S. cities, running through August 24 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston. Ashes Divide (featuring A Perfect Circle’s Billy Howerdel) will also perform on the main stage. Springsteen gives fans preview of tour


Bruce Springsteen was back in familiar territory with a rehearsal show Monday night in the city that has become known worldwide through his songs. The show at the oceanfront Convention Hall was the first of two benefit rehearsals for Springsteen and the E Street Band, who are about to embark on their first tour together in four years. They will also play Tuesday night, and a third rehearsal concert has been added for Friday at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford.
