Have Mercy and Daisyhead have teamed up  to release a four song split EP via No Sleep Records on February 25th. On coming together for the split, the bands stated: “Before this split, to me, Have Mercy was just a band that helped me destroy my apartment at a party we threw on July 4th of 2013,” says Daisyhead’s Michael Roe. “When Chris mentioned us doing a split with them, I couldn’t help but laugh. We Have An ‘Infatuation’ with iDKHOW’s New Single & Music Video

Dallon Weekes is dancing into the new year with I Don’t Know How But They Found Me’s latest single, “Infatuation.” This comes ahead of their upcoming sophomore album, GLOOM DIVISION, which is set to release on February 23 via Concord Records. The companion video for the new iDKHOW track exudes a creepy, mirror-house vibe that elevates the initial lyrics to create an eerie, devotional message. A boppy introduction to the song draws a parallel to a nostalgic reminiscence of the 2010s indie-sleaze sound that has been on the comeback. The opening lyrics, “I need you now/But it’s infatuation/Love is my… Read more »

Broadside Have Us Feeling “Bleu” In Soul-Stirring New Single

Reminiscent of their 2017 hit “Summer Stained,” Broadside has delivered a gut-punch, soul-stirring new single, “Bleu.” The new single shares its namesake’s sentiments with the band’s forthcoming full-length album Hotel Bleu, which will arrive via SharpTone Records on November 10. The heart-rendering track found its inspiration in the personal journey of vocalist Oliver Baxxter and his fiancé, who received the life-altering and devastating news of her breast cancer diagnosis. Baxxter’s deliberate croons, each word charged with the heartfelt anguish the two felt after receiving her diagnosis, are highlighted against a gentle acoustic guitar, only further elevating the emotional depth of… Read more »

In anticipation of their highly anticipated fall co-headlining tour, Black Veil Brides and former HIM frontman Ville Valo (VV) have unveiled their epic, collaborative cover of Sisters Of Mercy’s “Temple Of Love.”  The collaboration captures the essence of the original while infusing it with fresh energy that only Black Veil Brides’ Andy Biersack and VV could bring to the table. The haunting melodies and atmospheric instrumentals create a mesmerizing backdrop for Biersack and Valo‘s distinctive, dark vocals and the dynamic presence of Black Veil Brides. Their combined efforts bring a unique interpretation to the song, adding a modern twist while… Read more »

Narcotic Wasteland is gearing up to release their third LP next year and the North Carolina death metal thrashers previewed the record recently at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre. The crowd packed into the venue in anticipation of Accept’s spectacle of a headlining show but were treated to a master class in no-frills thrash metal beforehand.  Opening the night with their own dose of relentlessness, the band packed their thirty-five-minute set as tight as can be, playing songs from their previous releases as well as from their as-of-yet untitled record including the just-released single “The Best Times Have Passed”.
