Today legendary punk rock band, Jawbreaker has announced a headlining tour kicking off this September. The tour is absolutely stacked, with California natives, Joyce Manor, and Pure Noise Records up-and-comers, Grumpster. The run kicks off September 3rd in Seattle, WA and wraps September 25th in Orlando, FL. The group is set to hit cities like Dallas, Boston, Denver, Phoenix, and more along the way. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 4th with various pre-sales starting today. Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Underoath released their breakout fourth studio album, They’re Only Chasing Safety? Neither can we. Spencer Chamberlain‘s debut release with the band was launched with their leading single, “Reinventing Your Exit,” with the full album arriving on June 15, 2004. Does the new Royal & The Serpent song bang? Well, it “kinda smacks” at the very least. The alt-indie artist teamed up with pop sensation GAYLE on this recent release out via Atlantic Records. It’s a blend of both their musical styles, adding a unique sign-off on this new era for both acts. “Your ex-boyfriend’s music kinda smacks/And it makes me kinda sad/’Cause I can’t stop listening,” opens the chorus in a whisper-equivalent tone that mimics telling a friend this potentially traitorous secret. For vocalist and guitarist Laura Jane Grace, love is in the air this winter season. The Against Me! founder married actress and comedian Paris Campbell in an intimate Las Vegas wedding on December 18. Dave Decker, @watson33569 on Instagram, shared photos from the wedding ceremony, which did, of course, feature an Elvis Presley impersonator. The couple opted for wedding attire true to their styles. Jane Grace wore a radiant floral blazer and Campbell donned a gothic, lacy black dress with a red, fringed jacket.
