Due to an incredible outpouring of support from fans, the Museum of Pop Culture’s statue unveiling of the late Chris Cornell has been moved to Sunday, October 7th.

On what would have been Chris Cornell’s 54th birthday, his wife, Vicky, has announced the musician is to be commemorated in his hometown of Seattle, Washington with a statue and public ceremony on August 29th.
The Agonist steps their way from third to first in three weeks, a feat no other band has achieved in approximately six months of publishing a playlist. We try not to get carried away with industry talk but Torche should be commended for superb timing with the December release of “Minions”, the first single from Restarter out this week. Relapse Records took advantage of the music industry’s slowest season and the track kicked around Howl’s playlist for three months since. The Agonist continues to rip with Eye of Providence, their first effort with vocalist Vicky Psarakis. Kirkpatrick’s alter ego Skylark – actually an animated character – will poke fun at ‘NSYNC-like pop groups in the season premiere of Nickelodeon’s animated “The Fairly OddParents.” In an episode titled “Boys in the Band,” Kirkpatrick provides the voice of a pop star kidnapped by the evil babysitter Vicky. Skylark is featured heavily in the episode and performs in a 90-second video for a song called “Icky Vicky” at the conclusion of the show, according to Nickelodeon.
