An experienced keytarist and songwriter, Vicky chats about her music career, studying film at Tisch, being the daughter of multiple Grammy winning procure Peter Asher, and working for Britney Spears!
This week I have Vicky T from Cobra Starship, we met years ago and have kept in touch off and on ever since, I learn about where she comes from and her musical family, how she got involved with Cobra Starship, and what she continues to do within music as well as other things in the arts, we also touch on a once in a life opportunity job she had!
Vicky T grew up with a famous producer for a father, headlining actors for dinner guests, and grew up to be in Cobra Starship and work in the film industry.
Music manager and label exec, Vicky Hamilton, is a Grammy award-winning music industry executive, personal manager and writer.
As one of the most successful female music executives in the industry, Vicky has discovered and developed the careers of Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Faster Pussycat and many others.
Vicky’s over 30 years in the music industry also includes working as an A&R executive at Geffen, Capitol and Vapor Records and owning a successful independent record label, which won a Grammy for June Carter Cash. Cumulatively, the acts Vicky has developed and managed have sold over 250 million units.
