New York – Get ready for emo on “The O.C.” Creator Josh Schwartz told the April 8 issue of Entertainment Weekly that “the ultimate Bait Shop band will be performing.” He was referring to Death Cab for Cutie. On March 1, Death Cab for Cutie – longtime independent stalwarts recently inked to Atlantic Records – will drop The John Byrd EP, the final release for them on tiny Seattle label Barsuk Records.
