But starting in February, the young and spiky will have new reason to rejoice: the Taste of Chaos Tour. LINCOLN, Neb. – Former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee said he’s finding his experience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to be a lot of work. In a news conference Sunday, Lee said he loves horticulture, but finds chemistry to be unbelievably hard. The city’s West Side has a new retail, residential and commercial anchor, bringing high-end shopping, luxury living and the new headquarters of Time Warner Corp. to a corner overlooking Central Park. The $1.7 billion Time Warner Center, a 2.8 million-square-foot complex at Columbus Circle, was to open to the public on Thursday after a black-tie gala Wednesday night. Blink-182 recently spent the night in jail. No, not as inmates. That was their teenage years (Tom DeLonge when he was 18, Travis Barker 15, to be specific). The older, more mature Blink-182 were only behind bars for the sake of work. Marching to a different beat for its eighth installment, MTV’s Campus Invasion tour will split into separate rock and hip-hop tours for the first time. Fabolous and Talib Kweli kick off the hip-hop-oriented stretch April 19 at Lincoln University in Philadelphia. The Used, the Exies, and Finch are headlining rock-geared gigs starting May 3 at Towson University in Towson, Md. Bono closed out a two-hour AIDS awareness rally in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Sunday with a new song called “America’s Prayer.” Addressing more than 2,300 people on World AIDS Day, the singer discussed the AIDS epidemic in Africa and encouraged Americans to help halt the spread of the deadly disease. Bono will be in Nebraska next month for World AIDS Day. The 42-year-old U2 lead singer will be in Lincoln on Dec. 1, said Nelson Okuku Miruka, president of Save Sub-Saharan Orphans, a volunteer group that raises money for African orphanages. He’ll present an evening program at the Lied Center for the performing arts to raise awareness of the continent’s growing health crisis, Miruka said this week. AIDS and African debt relief are two of Bono’s top political causes. He traveled to Africa in May with U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill to draw attention to the needs of the continent.

Neko Case will release her third solo album Blacklisted, on August 20th.
